Thoughts:
I’ve come here after a couple of Value Village runs before, and I’m always somewhat surprised how much steady foot traffic it gets. Must be popular with the locals – heard the guy in front of me order 3 wraps for take out. Pretty tasty, but more or less average. I got the chicken shawarma plate. I do like how plates are often a great balanced meal – the plate can be had with 2/3, salad, fries or rice. The rice is slightly firmer than my liking, but nicely seasoned & spiced. I got the tandori chicken version, and seemed like mostly white meat. It was a tad dry (needs tomatoes) and the shavings were a bit finer than my preference. Should have gotten a drink or asked for more sauce.
