Thoughts:
This is a nice restaurant competing with the likes of Chako and Gyu-bee for Japanese AYCE grill & sushi, but feels a touch more upscale. I find when you walk into those places, it’s a bit stuffy and feel & smell like a grill house, but that’s not the case here. They seem to have propane gas grills and a somewhat cleaner taste. It doesn’t get super hot though, so you’re forced into a slower of a pace. Flames can get somewhat happy – keep your eyebrows away. Restaurant is quite spacious and tables & booths are a good size. Meat quality is fair; minimal mariation. Nigiri sushi is quite good if a bit atraditional with it’s sauce choices. Service is very fast; you order on an app and they bring the raw plates out really quick. Pricing is different depending on what day you go. I believe there’s a 2-hr limit for AYCE.
